Hello, my name is Brian Hardy and I am running for Mayor of the Great Town of Cave Creek. I have 3 children and 2 Grandchildren. I have been with my wife Annie since High School and we have been married for 30 years. We moved to Cave Creek 5 years ago and our youngest son graduated from Cactus Shadows. We have been involved in local causes such as sponsoring the Turquoise Rodeo and the American Legion. We also donate to local charities and engage locally whenever we can. I have been in leadership roles since my first General Manager position at 28 years old, managing over 300 employees. I then became Vice President managing an Auto Group with over 1200 employees. My wife and I started an Auto Auction that became one of the largest in the Country that sold to a public company on Wall Street after 16 years.

I believe that responsibility, accountability and leadership make a big difference both in business and Government. I will protect and defend the identity and heart of Cave Creek. I will do my best to make sure decisions regarding water and growth are better than the decisions of the past. Cave Creek has a water problem that has gone on too long. Indecision and bad decisions have consequences. I believe Cave Creek voters have been kept in the dark on many issues through Executive meetings and managed agendas. I commit to communicate our challenges openly. I promise to bring people together to find solutions for the future of Cave Creek. I strongly support the 4005 acre-conservation land purchase. Cave Creek has already committed the funds for this purchase but I will explore other funds to save Cave Creek money.
